Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of CourtMixer, the website at courtmixer.com and the CourtMixer service for tennis clubs. By creating a club account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

CourtMixer helps clubs schedule and run tennis events. Club organizers (“managers”) create events and share them with players. Players use the service to view schedules, enter scores, rate matches, share photos and chat.

Club accounts

• A club account is opened by a person with authority to act for the club.
• Managers are responsible for the events they create and for keeping their sign-in details safe.
• Each plan allows a set number of managers and amount of photo storage, as shown on the pricing page.

Free event and plans

• Each club may run one free event. The trial ends 7 days after the first event is published, or 7 days after sign-up if nothing is published.
• Paid plans are billed monthly, or yearly in advance, through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days’ notice.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are not refunded for partial periods unless the law requires it.
• CourtMixer charges clubs only. We do not charge or collect money from a club’s members.

Your content

Your club owns the content it and its players add, such as rosters, scores, photos and messages. You give us permission to store and display that content only to run the service for your club. You are responsible for having permission to share any photos and personal details you upload.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, harmful or offensive content, or content that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not try to access another club’s data, disrupt the service, or use it to send spam.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep CourtMixer running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may improve or change features over time and will tell you about significant changes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, CourtMixer is provided “as is,” and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your club paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You may close your club account at any time. After closing, we delete your club’s data within 60 days, except where we must keep records by law.
