Getting started
What is CourtMixer?
A simple way for tennis clubs to host mixers and round robins. Organizers set up the day and share one link. Players see their courts, enter scores, follow the leaderboard, and share photos and chat, all on their phones.
How does the free event work?
Every club can run one real event free. Publish your schedule, play the day with live scores, photos and chat, and decide afterward. The trial ends 7 days after you publish, or 7 days after you sign up if you haven't published yet.
How long does setup take?
Most organizers publish their first schedule in a few minutes: add your players, pick a style of play, and publish. We're happy to help with your first one.
How many players and courts can an event have?
Up to 40 players and 6 courts per event. When more people come than there are spots on court, sitting out rotates fairly.
For players
Do players need to download an app?
No. Players open the link in their phone's browser. They can add it to their home screen so it opens like an app, but there is nothing to install.
Do players need an account or password?
No. Players pick their name from the list once and their phone remembers it.
Can we run mixed doubles?
Yes. Choose open, mixed or same-gender doubles, then the style of play that suits your group.
Are match ratings anonymous?
Yes. A court's average only appears once three of its four players have rated, so nobody's answer can be worked out.
Plans and billing
Do our members pay anything?
Never. Your club pays one flat price for its plan. CourtMixer does not charge your members or collect money from them.
What's the difference between the plans?
The number of managers who can run events (1, 3 or unlimited) and photo storage (2 GB, 10 GB or 50 GB). Every plan includes all styles of play, live scores, photos, chat and your club's logo.
Can we use our own web address?
Yes. Run CourtMixer on your club's own domain, such as tennis.yourclub.org, for $79 a year on Starter and Club. It's included with Unlimited.
What happens if we run out of photo storage?
We'll let you know well before you reach your limit. You can remove older albums, download them, or move to a larger plan.
Can we change or cancel our plan?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime from your club settings.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe, and card details never touch our servers. The whole site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Your club's data
Who can see our club's events?
Each club's events, players, photos and chat are kept separate from every other club's.
Can we see past events?
Yes. Results from past events stay on hand for your club.
