CourtMixer
Styles of play

Pick the feel of the day.

Every club has its own crowd. Choose the kind of morning you want, and CourtMixer makes fair matches around it.

Competitive

Most popular

Close matches all morning.

Similar levels on each court and two even teams. Lots of 5–3s, very few blowouts.

Social mixing

Meet someone new every round.

Levels step aside. You share a court with as many different people as possible.

Teaching

Stronger players bring others along.

Each team pairs an experienced player with a newer one, and the match stays even.

Stretch

Everyone plays up once in a while.

Each round one team is set a notch stronger. It evens out across the day.

Balanced pairs

No runaway teams.

Set a limit on a team's combined rating so the two strongest players never team up.

Flights

Levels that play side by side.

Split a wide range into two or three groups that share the courts.

Americano

A new partner every round.

A classic rotation. Play enough rounds and everyone partners everyone.

Team battle

Two sides, one trophy.

The club splits in two. Every game a player wins counts for their side.

Bring a partner

Same partner, new rivals.

Pairs stay together all morning and meet a different team each round.

Mexicano

Win and move up.

The standings set each round, so Court 1 always holds the four leaders.

Open, mixed or same-gender doubles

Choose who can partner whom, then pick a style. In most styles nobody partners the same person twice, and sitting out rotates fairly so nobody sits twice before everyone has sat once.
